Our
clients are expected to use the Internet responsibly,
with respect, courtesy and consideration; in ways considered acceptable
by responsible Internet users, which do not harm, hurt, annoy, or
offend others. Common sense is the best guide as to what is considered
acceptable use. The following are clearly unacceptable uses of the
Internet and will result in the immediate revocation of your
account:
Illegal
activities of any kind, including but not limited to:
the unlawful copying, distribution or transmission of any legally
protected materials (including without limitation protected music,
graphics, trademarks, trade secrets, computer software, text, and
all other forms of intellectual property). The violation of U.S.
export restrictions, trafficking in obscene material, fraud, scam
operations, drug dealing, and any other act that violates any county,
state, federal law, or international law.
Net abuse,
including but not limited to: using a non-existent email return
address on a commercial solicitation, "spamming" (sending unsolicited
advertising to news groups or numerous e-mail addresses and/or generating
a significantly higher volume of outgoing e-mail than a normal user),
"trolling" (posting outrageous messages to generate numerous responses),
"mail bombing" (sending multiple messages without significant new
content to the same user), subscribing someone else to a mailing
list without that person's permission, cross-posting articles to
an excessive number of new groups, attempting without authorization
to enter into a secured computer system and such similar acts. Tortious
conduct of any kind, including but not limited to: defamation, posting
private information about a person without his or her prior consent,
interference with contracts, making unlawful threats, intentionally
inflicting emotional distress, deception, fraud, sexual or other
harassment and such similar acts.
Misuse of
system resources, including but not limited to: employing
posts or programs which consume excessive CPU time or storage space,
permitting use of mail services, mail forwarding capabilities, POP
accounts, or autoresponders other than for the client's own account
or resale of access to CGI scripts installed on our servers.
Offensive
and adult oriented activities, including but not limited
to: conducting any sexually oriented business over the Internet
or disseminating pornographic pictures, banners, text or other such
material.
Right To
Refuse Service, We reserve the right to refuse service
to anyone for any reason. We enforce this policy to ensure a professional
environment for the users of our system.
