PGP 128 bit Encryption is used to encrypt ALL credit card information

The Merchant will receive an order with the credit card information in a block of encrypted data, as seen at right.

Decryption

Decrypting is quite easy.

As seen at right, PGP software displays a screen asking for your private key information. You enter your key and PGP decrypts the message (un encrypts).

There is no need to ever store decrypted information on your hard drive.

Your final un-encrypted order

PGP will display a screen, as seen above, displaying your order as well as the decrypted credit card information. You may write down the information or print out the complete decrypted invoice for your records at this time.

Some processing companies require you to supply your customer with a complete invoice, including the credit card information. Your contract with them may dictate the procedure. There is still no need to store any credit card info on your system unencrypted. (These records can be stored and recalled if desired)

After this window is closed, the decrypted information is lost as well. Leaving NO CREDIT CARD INFORMATION VULNERABLE on your system to anyone!
