E-mailed to customer

A customer placing an order over the internet also receives in their email an order confirmation. At right is a copy of the email sent to them if requested at the time the order is placed.
Note: We used Miami Florida as the shipping address to show the manner mandatory discretionary sales tax is displayed. Your area of the country may have similar requirements as well. Our shopping cart is able to collect the necessary amounts (only in the areas required) and inform you, the merchant. This giving you helpful records when these taxes must be paid.

Details on encryption

The customers credit card has been automatically "processed" at this point. It will be up to the merchant to verify the status of the transaction. Each transaction may be in one of three states: Authorized, review, or bad/denied. The merchant has the option to decide when a transaction is to be completed should it carry an A-code (authorization code)

This is a feature exclusive to the Hot Connect system, giving the merchant many more options and the ability to remain in control of his/her business at all times. Learn more about transaction status
